How exciting would it be for the fog around us to lift – of our perspectives and subjective lens’ – so that we may deeply understand/see clearly what the true vision for our life may be. This is the journey that Rev. Beckwith leads us through, in his magical book LifeVisioning. Different from visualizing (created by our imagination), visioning is based on a deep knowing.
In this book, we begin by understanding the evolutionary stages of consciousness, and then are led through the process of LifeVisioning. Though the process appears simple, the power lies in the depth of practice, initiated by a meditation session leading into the actual steps of visioning.
The key to really enjoying and having fun with the process is not setting any expectations and being “non attached”. I’ve been practicing this for a few weeks now, and find this a deeply satisfying experience. Being able to access a depth of calm, along with a knowing that all is well erases any franticness from the mind. There is increased clarity and ease on next steps, and makes it natural to just flow through each day being completely aware, awake, and present.
